This 2019 PILOT Nights will be revving up for another series of work in progress events. PILOT Nights are a chance for contemporary theatre-makers to present up to 20 minutes of new, work-in-progress material, in front of a real live audience and industry peers.

The first PILOT Night will land at MAC Birmingham on 31 January 2019 co-piloted by LYNNEBEC, here’s what they have to say…

Well would you look at that: PILOT Nights are gearing up for a new series of work in progress events. We are even more chuffed that they’ve asked LYNNEBEC to climb aboard and co-pilot the first one back on 31 January 2019!

PILOT Nights is a wonderful opportunity to test out your latest ideas/work-in-progress and get some of that all important feedback. As well as this artists will receive a small fee, professional photo and video documentation of their work. There will also be access to some rehearsal space at MAC Birmingham. It’s a great opportunity to meet people who can help take your work to the next stages and generally an opportunity to celebrate the talent and see some new work.

It’s gonna be dead great so yeah, get the pens out, tell us about your show or pop the date in your diaries. We will be hosting on the night and promise there’ll be a little LYNNEBEC flair… haven’t decided what that’ll be yet so… stay tuned…

Performance date: Thursday 31st January 2019

Time: 7.30pm

LYNNEBEC is an artistic collaboration between Jessica Barber and Catherine Butler, forged from a shared interest in dance, circus, and visual arts. Our work is characterised by bold visual aesthetics, our sense of humour and swings from the intimate to the spectacular.
