Each event is programmed and managed by a Co-Pilot, in conjunction with the core PILOT Nights team. Co-Pilots are practising artists with an interest in producing/curating.  Having a different Co-Pilot for each event ensures the programme remains diverse and exciting, and places artists at the heart of PILOT Nights. PILOT Nights encourages applications from diverse sections of the theatre-making community and welcomes applications from disabled artists. Please contact PILOT Nights if you would like the application form in alternative formats, or have any alternative access needs. The Co-Pilots for this event are Creative Black Country (CBC) and Black Country Touring (BCT) CBC is a three year campaign which aims to make the most of creative talent in The Black Country.  People in the area will have more opportunities to see, promote and commission a wide range of high quality arts activity

BCT is both a producing company and a touring network. We support a network of promoters across the Black Country to programme professional theatre and dance into community spaces and professional theatres. Most of our promoters are volunteers who give up their time to bring arts events to their local communities.   BCT’s own productions are created in partnership with other leading arts organisations and take place in non traditional spaces  both regionally and nationally.

As part of this PILOT Night some of the volunteers who are already participating in the CBC programme, including groups such as Finchfield and Castlecroft Community Association,  will be working with us on the selection and programming of PILOT Night. If you have any questions or concerns please email  We want you to apply and we want to know what you can do.
