On 25 January 2011, artist Caroline Horton tested out some early ideas for what was to become her award winning show, Mess, at PILOT Nights, which took place at Warwick Arts Centre.
Caroline Horton makes work in collaborative ways as a writer/performer, self-described as “funny, stupid and profound – often wild, often personal”. In 2016, she was BBC Birmingham’s first Writer in Residence, working across radio and TV dramas produced in the city, including BBC series Home Front and the award-winning Tracks.
In 2018/19, Caroline was Creative Fellow at the University of Birmingham’s Shakespeare Institute. In 2020, Caroline Horton & Co are touring ‘All of Me (The Possibility of Future Splendour)’ with China Plate, Cambridge Junction and The Yard Theatre.
