PILOT Nights at Warwick Arts Centre!

We had a cracking night on Tuesday with the final PILOT Nights event of 2014 at Warwick Arts Centre. 6 fantastic theatre makers from across the UK showed extracts of new ideas. Thanks so much to everyone who came along, you were a lovely, supportive audience and helped to create a safe space for the artists to share their ideas, most of which were very early scratchings. In the first half we saw intimate and arresting work from 2Magpies Theatre (Ventoux), Ira Brand (Be Gentle with Me) and The Plasticine Men (There Shall Be Fireworks), intricate and thought-provoking pieces which we pondered over in the interval. The second half was off to a lively start with Jack Trow’s Point Nemo, followed by the playful Paul O’Donnell with One Thing On His Mime, and Hannah Silva finished off the night with an extract of Schlock, which will be premièring at mac Birmingham on 12th November.

If you were at this night and have any thoughts or feedback for the artists please do not hesitate to get in touch, you can email us at pilotnights@gmail.com and we will forward your thoughts to the artists!

We will be announcing the full line-up of 2015 PILOT Nights in early 2015 so sign up to our mailing list to be the first to hear!

In the mean time a HUGE thank you to all our host venues, artists and lovely audiences who have supported us this year, what fantastic nights we have had! Of course a big thank you to Arts Council England and Sir Barry Jackson Trust Fund, without whom none of this would have been possible.
